What Will ‘DWTS’ Teams Perform For Week 4 Trios Dances?
The Season 27 cast of “Dancing With the Stars” has been impressing the judges with their high-caliber of talent, and now, with things heating up more following the first perfect score of the season, teams will have to perfect routines featuring a third person.
The ABC reality competition series will feature the remaining 10 teams as they perform “Trio” routines, which usually are performed later in the competition. However, according to an ABC press release, this time around, not only will the dances be earlier, but they will also feature partners who have never yet stepped foot on the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom floor.
Of course, even a flawless routine with a third person involved won’t be able to save one of the teams, as another elimination is scheduled to take place at the end of the night.
So what routines will the remaining Season 27 teams perform (and who will they dance with) on Trios night? The planned performances can be found below.
- Juan Pablo di Pace and Cheryl Burke (#TeamChernando): After scoring the first perfect 30 of the season during Week 3’s “Most Memorable Year” routine, the “Fuller House” star and his partner will perform a Cha Cha to “Wavey” by CliQ featuring Alika. They will be joined by Season 15 All-Stars winner Melissa Rycroft.
- Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong (#TeamFireandFlames): After just mussing elimination last week, despite strong scores, the pair will try and reconvince fans to vote for them by performing a Tango with Season 18 runner-up Amy Purdy. The trio will dance to the “Rock of Ages” tune “Hit Me with Your Best Shot.”
- Milo Manheim and Witney Carson (#TeamWitlo): The two will team up with Season 20 runner-up Riker Lynch as they perform a Salsa to “Adrenalina” by Wisin, featuring Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin.
- Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe (#TeamKevanna): After making it close to the top during week 3, the two will bring her former “Harry Potter” co-star Scarlett Byrne, who portrayed Pansy Parkinson, in. Together they will all dance a Salsa to “Black Magic” by Little Mix.
- DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold (#TeamWaresOurMirrorball): DeMarcus and Lindsay are bringing in Season 24 winner Rashad Jennings for their Paso Doblé, which they will perform to “Fire” by Barns Courtney.
- Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten (#TeamRenTen): The pair will team up with dancer/actress/model Maddie Ziegler for a Tango to “Move Your Body” by Sia.
- Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber (#TeamStickIt): Fellow Olympian and Season 20 competitor Nastia Liukin will join the pair for a Charleston to “V.E.S.P.A.” by Dimie Cat.
- Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess (#TeamBeautyandtheGeek): The pair will dance with Season 25 runner-up Lindsey Stirling and perform a Cha Cha to MC Hammer’s hit song, “U Can’t Touch This.”
- John Schneider and Emma Slater (#TeamSuperDuke): The two will team up with Season 4 runner-up Joey Fatone for an Argentine Tango to “Torn” by Nathan Lanier.
- Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson (#TeamCHECKusOUT): The “Bachelor In Paradise” star will bring his co-star Jordan Kimball to the floor as he tries to impress the judges with a Salsa to “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
