What you should look forward to at E3 ?
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or commonly known as E3, draws huge crowds every year to showcase upcoming video games. This year the E3 starts on June 7 in Los Angeles and it has been expected by many that this will be the one to remember for a lifetime.
The expo will feature some new games with integrated graphics and a few awaited sequels which will make the occasion even more breathtaking and memorable.
Some of the games to be discussed in the expo will be beyond imagination. There are a few which are rumored to be featuring, but there is no conformation to it.
Here is a list of the games with most promising outcome at the expo. You may not agree with the list but you definitely can’t look away.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3- “It doesn't take the most powerful nations on earth to create the next global conflict, just the will of a single man”. Yes you read it right. A global conflict or World War 3 simply. Set for a November release, the game will see the exciting return of Task Force 141 captain Soap MacTavish, Ex-SAS Captain Price and the Russian informant Nikolai, who are still on the run after killing General Shepard from the last game. The game will also feature the return of the famous Vladimir Makarov as the primary antagonist. The game will be no less than a disaster flick. Cities like New York, London, Paris and Berlin will come into their most destructive beings. I mean, who doesn’t love a good spell of Gatling gunning in an AC-130 gunship, underwater missions and falling cities.
Gears of War 3- Set for a September release will be the final game in the current story. The game is said to feature co-op missions for the first time in the GOW series and will bring in new Locust enemies which includes the Digger Boomer, the Locust Siege Beast, the Savage Grenadier, the Kantus Knight, and the return of the Berserkers who will be both ordinary as well as lambent. Four new female characters introduced in the plot are Anya Stroud, Samantha Byrne, Queen Myrrah, and Bernadette Mataki.
Grand Theft Auto 5- This may or may not be featured at the expo but the crowd will definitely expect an update from Rockstar. The story can range from a very important story in our industry to something totally new and beyond our imaginations.
Thief 4- Or most commonly Thi4f, the game again falls in the may or may not section. Gamers all over will definitely expect any update on this one. The developers themselves call the game an ambitious project.
Need for Speed: The Run- The game, till date, has only been officially announced by the franchise in their official Facebook page along with a trailer. The game is also set for a November release and features a story based on a race across the US from San Francisco to New York. Notable cars seen in the video are Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake, Pagani Huayra, Audi R8 V10, Porsche 911, Nissan GT-R and Aston Martin V12 Vantage. The game promises huge potential and the rest depends on what they showcase at the E3.
Halo 4- Now this is certain to raise some eye-brows as the Halo series has seen a lot of success in the earlier years. Rumored to be featured at the expo, this may well become Microsoft’s biggest release this year. Any announcement on the game will come as a bonus for gamers.
Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy- And finally, the journey of Ezio continues, who travels east to find the castle of Masyaf to find more about his family’s origin and a possible connection to Altair’s story. Masyaf may also become the place where Assassins Creed (Revelations) will start. A highlight of the game is expected at the E3.
These are only a few of the games to look forward to at the E3 and lots more to expect from the above mentioned few. The most you can do at the moment is getting a glimpse of the games from the videos that are available online. Apart from that, you can try and attend the E3 if you are lucky, or wait till they are officially declared.
