There is a swirl of rumors in tech circles about when iPhone 5 will be released. The chaos worsens when iPhone 4 S comes into picture as well. Rumors being what they are, no date is conclusive. However, it would be useful to find out what the 'median forecast' is like when it comes to iPhone launches.

Japanese website Macotakara started the latest euphoria over the next generation iPhone launch. And it said the next generation iPhone will be revealed in the Spring of 2012 while the iPhone 4 S will be released in July or August.

The rumors say the iPhone 4 S will have an 8 megapixel camera along with a SIM built-in design, which will not require SIM cards. It will also feature ARM technology in its Cortex A9 processor.

It is reported that it will have 3-4 internal antennas and be compatible with both GSM and CDMA networks. Overall, the modifications on the previous model will not be large scale, and the iPhone will retain the form factor of iPhone 4. However, rumors don't say if the latest iPhone will have single CPU or dual CPUs.

This device, the iPhone 4 S, will be released during end of July to early August according to Macotakara. What it calls the iPhone 4 will come in the Spring of 2012.
