‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 6 Spoilers: What Happens In Episode 8? [Preview]
With only one episode left until the Season 6 finale, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) finds herself in danger in Season 6, episode 8 of “When Calls the Heart,” airing on Sunday, and it’s all because of Lucas (Chris McNally). The episode title, “A Call from the Past,” is very spot on this time around, as Lucas receives just that.
“They know you’re in Hope Valley,” a woman tells him on the phone at the start of the preview video.
While he’s preparing to leave on his horse, Elizabeth stops him to ask if everything’s all right. Well, clearly things aren’t okay for him, and, soon, things won’t be okay for Elizabeth either.
At the end of the promo trailer, Elizabeth’s sitting in the saloon when a man points a gun at her, explaining, “I’m looking for Lucas Bouchard.” Shortly after, Lucas walks through the door and sees what’s happening.
What follows in the preview is a bunch of moments clipped together — Mountie Nathan (Kevin McGarry) appearing, Bill (Jack Wagner) showing up, Elizabeth looking worried and Lucas looking worried for her. Who this man with the gun is, why he’s looking for Lucas and how the Hope Valley residents plan to disarm him are all questions Hearties will have to wait until Sunday to find out.
Until then, here’s what else fans can expect from the “When Calls the Heart” episode, which was written by Elizabeth Stewart and Derek Thompson and directed by Martin Wood:
“Lee’s (Kavan Smith) business suffers when Gowen (Martin Cummins) hires his top employees away,” the synopsis reveals. “Meanwhile, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) hosts some out of town visitors and finds that their help disturbs her otherwise peaceful domestic bliss.
The episode’s cast includes the return of Jocelyn Hudon (Grace) and Morgan Kohan (Lillian), as well as Hrothgar Mathews (Ned Yost), Loretta Walsh (Florence Blakeley), Aren Buchholz (Jesse Flynn), Eva Bourne (Clara Stanton), Kayla Wallace (Fiona Miller), Ben Rosenbaum (Mike Hickam), Paul Greene (Dr. Carson Shepherd), Aaron Douglas (Amos Dixon), Isaac Keoughan (Walt) and Katie Hall (Jill Hayes).
