When Do The Dallas Cowboys Play Next? 2021 Schedule After Thanksgiving Game
Following their traditional Thanksgiving game, the Dallas Cowboys have six contests left on the 2021 regular-season schedule. Sitting atop the NFC East with just a month and a half remaining, the team is widely expected to make the playoffs.
Exactly one week after their holiday matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas is back on the NFL’s Thursday schedule. The Cowboys kick off Week 13 when they visit the New Orleans Saints on Dec. 2. It’s the start of a three-game road drip for Dak Prescott and Co.
The Cowboys could be significant betting favorites in each game from Weeks 14-16. Dallas visits the Washington Football team on Sunday, Dec. 12, followed by a road game against the New York Giants on Dec. 19. The Cowboys play their next home game on Dec. 26 when they face Washington for the second time in three weeks.
Dallas beat the Giants 44-20 at AT&T Stadium in Week 5.
Week 17 features Dallas’ best remaining opponent. The Cowboys will visit the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Jan. 2 in their first contest of 2022. Arizona is the NFC’s No. 1 seed with the best record in all of football.
In their regular-season finale, Dallas will visit the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jan. 9 matchup could mean very little for the Cowboys if they have already clinched the division title. Philadelphia might be playing for a postseason berth in Week 18.
Dallas blew out Philadelphia 41-21 on “Monday Night Football” in Week 3. Prescott threw for 238 yards, three touchdowns and a 143.3 passer rating.
The Cowboys had their bye in Week 7. Dallas went undefeated for nearly two months from Week 2 through Week 8.
Dallas last made the playoffs in the 2018 season.
