"Star Wars" fans can rejoice as Disney’s (DIS) "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge" attractions are slated to open earlier than expected. The new attraction will open at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on May 31 and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, on Aug. 29. However, there are some restrictions that attendees need to be aware of before they plan on visiting the parks.

While both Disneyland and Disney World will open the doors to "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge" on their specified release dates, not all of the attractions will open immediately. The second ride at both parks, "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance," will not be open until during what Disney calls Phase 2 of the attraction.

Both parks will, however, have the "Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run" ride operational on the opening dates. Themed shops and amenities are also included in Phase 1 of the theme park attraction’s construction.

Attendees will need reservations to visit Disneyland from May 31 to June 23. Disneyland said that information on making reservations for the park “will be available at a later date on Disneyland.com and the Disney Parks Blog.” Guests that stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel from May 31 to June 23 will also receive a designated reservation for the "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge" attraction during their stay with valid park admission.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not require reservations, but Disney did say that capacity will be limited.

Shares of Disney stock were down 0.85 percent as of 2:44 p.m. EST on Thursday.
