When Is Jinger Duggar Getting Married? Everything We Know About Her Wedding So Far
Jinger Duggar isn’t like her siblings. The “Counting On” star has decided to keep her wedding date with Jeremy Vuolo a secret from fans. While viewers wait to find out when she’ll become Mrs. Vuolo, let’s take a look at everything we know about their upcoming big day so far!
The Date
Jinger and Jeremy have decided to keep their date a secret from the public but there are several hints as to when they will saying “I Do.” On Tuesday’s “Counting On” after show special, TLC revealed there would be two more episodes coming in Season 2, both of which will focus on their wedding. And off-set, Jinger told the cameras their wedding was just “weeks away.”
Jinger’s brother-in-law, Derick Dillard, has also dropped a big hint on the show. When Jinger and Jeremy were asked about their baby plans, Derick commented Jinger would likely be pregnant by year’s end. Based on the fact the couple has shared they plan to save their first kiss until their wedding day, it’s safe to say this likely means they’re getting married before 2017.
Guest List
Duggar weddings typically include thousands of guests, but Jinger and Jeremy’s affair will be much more exclusive. The couple told Us Weekly in August that they were planning to only invite close family and friends. “We want to be very intentional with who we invite,” Jeremy said. “We’re trying to keep it intimate.”
The Location
Like their date, the wedding location has also been shrouded in secrecy, though they are hints it may not take place in Arkansas. Jinger revealed in September that she and several of her sisters had taken a wedding planning trip, prompting speculation she and Jeremy could be marrying in his current home state of Texas. Jinger and Jeremy also reunited in Texas earlier this month with her father, Jim Bob Duggar, and his dad, Charles Vuolo. It’s possible the visit could have been wedding related.
Post-Wedding Plans
After marrying, Jinger and Jeremy plan to live and work in Laredo, Texas. Jinger has shared she plans to join her future hubby in the ministry field. (Jeremy works as a pastor and “Counting On” got to see his church on the show.) Jinger will move from Arkansas right after the honeymoon, telling “Counting On” producers on the after show Tuesday, “I plan to move most of the stuff before the wedding. Just, I think it would be easier rather than later.”
... And Then Comes Baby?
The reality stars have remained hush-hush about when and if they’ll have children, making it clear they’re leaving the future of their family up to the Lord. “We’ll have to see what the Lord provides,” Jeremy told Us Weekly in August, explaining the haven’t talked about the size of their potential brood but know they both “love children.”
“I’m excited for the future,” Jinger added of their family planning.
