When Will ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 13 First Judge Cuts Episode Air?

“America’s Got Talent” Season 13 just aired its final auditions episode on Tuesday night.

This means that next week’s episode of the NBC show will be the start of the Judge Cuts round. In the coming weeks, the contestants who made it past their audition will perform in front of Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel once again.

The four judges will also be joined by a fifth surprise judge that will help them critic the contestants. But after every episode, only the four original judges will decide which contestants they will bring to the live shows.

The contestants who received the golden buzzer from Cowell, Klum, Mel B and Mandel will no longer perform in the Judge Cuts round. Rather, they will go straight to the live shows.

Prior to next week’s first Judge Cuts episode, the final audition episode aired this week. In the installment, Cowell was extremely impressed with Oscar the singing dog. The 3-year-old golden retriever sang his heart out while his human played the piano.

“I’ve done this show a long time, and I’ve always said if we could find a dog that could sing, that would be everything to me,” Cowell said. And the judge finally got his wish.

Another highlight from the final audition episode of the season was a performance by 15-year-old singer Makayla Phillips. Klum gave the teenager her golden buzzer after she sang Demi Lovato’s song “Warrior.”

“I love you. I think you’re absolutely incredible. I love the whole package. I love your smile. I love how you project to everyone. Your voice is incredible. Know what I’m going to do for you?” Klum told the young singer before pressing the golden buzzer.

Cowell also predicted big things for Phillips. He told her, “I think I just found the winner.”

The other golden buzzer recipients this season are Amanda Mena, who was chosen by Mel B, Courtney Hadwin, who was selected by Mandel, Michael Ketterer, who was chosen by Cowell, and Zurcaroh, who was picked by host Tyra Banks.
