‘Blindspot’
Will Roman (Luke Mitchell) be able to forgive Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) for removing his memories in “Blindspot” Season 2, episode 10? NBC

“Blindspot” Season 2 did not air a new episode on Wednesday, Dec. 7, but the hit NBC series is expected to return on Jan. 4 after a short hiatus.

In Season 2, episode 10, Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) will find out that there’s another mole working for the mysterious organization Sandstorm. In the winter finale, Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach) was revealed to be one of the people giving Sandstorm information about Jane and her team. This revelation also impacted Jane’s relationship with her brother, who tricked her into believing that he had her back.

While speaking with TV Line, co-executive producer Alex Berger confirmed that Jane and Roman’s (Luke Mitchell) relationship will continue to be put to the test. Berger added that one of the best ways to stop Sandstorm is by allowing Roman to recover some of his memories. However, doing so would mean Roman will also find out that it was Jane who erased all of it. “It will tear them apart,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mitchell also opened up about his character and Jane’s relationship and said that she is definitely Roman’s world. “She’s the closes thing he has, so it’s frustrating for him to have her back but not have her back, for her to not remember the bond they created through the traumatic history they share,” he said.

The teaser for the upcoming episode of “Blindspot” Season 2 confirmed that at least one character will be killed off. Even though it seems highly unlikely that Patterson (Ashley Johnson) will die, she was the only character featured in the short clip. In the winter finale, an emotional Patterson found out that her new love interest, Dr. Borden, has been playing her and the team all along.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 10 will air on NBC on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. EST.
