When Will ‘Shades Of Blue’ Season 2 Premiere? NBC Moves Jennifer Lopez-Starrer To Sunday
“Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 1 will premiere on NBC on March 5.
According to Deadline, the Jennifer Lopez-starrer that aired on Thursdays during its pilot season has been moved to a post-football Sunday slot. Despite the move, “Shades of Blue” Season 2 is still expected to have a total of 13 episodes like Season 1. The series will also continue to air at 10 p.m. EST.
Following the network’s announcement, Lopez shared a photo of her character, Harlee Santos, and the latter’s boss, Wozniak (Ray Liotta), on Instagram. The actress also expressed her excitement over the premiere and urged fans to watch the show to see what’s in store for their favorite characters.
Meanwhile, “Shades of Blue” Season 1 ended with a shocking twist: Harlee killed the father of her child, Miguel Zepeda (Antonio Jaramillo) after he tried to rape her. At present, no one knows what Harlee has done, and her protector, Wozniak, is no longer around to clean up her mess for her.
In addition, Wozniak decided to protect his team from the FBI by turning himself in. Harlee tried to talk her boss out of his decision, but he didn’t budge. In fact, Wozniak was convinced that he was doing the right thing, especially for Harlee who is like a daughter to him.
However, it’s possible that Wozniak has other intentions for turning himself in. After all, he was never known to be a good guy. He previously had one of his rivals raped, and he also killed one of the members of his team in the previous episode. Whatever his real motivations are for turning himself in will most definitely be unveiled in the early episodes of Season 2.
Catch Harlee, Wozniak and the other characters when the series returns next year.
