Where Is Fox’s ‘The Passage’ Filmed? TV Show’s Filming Locations Revealed
Fox’s new vampire drama, “The Passage,” which based on Justin Cronin’s novel series of the same name, has various filming locations in and around Atlanta.
Where exactly is “The Passage” filmed? The show shot scenes last year in a few different cities in Georgia, including Fairburn, Stonecrest, Stone Mountain, Douglasville, Lithia Springs, McDonough, Atlanta, Braselton, Tucker, Union City and Smyrna.
As some of the people on the show are often on the run, “The Passage” has to use many different locations to make it appear like the characters are going all over the place. One of the few consistent places in the series is the Project Noah government facility, where they house all of the virals aka vampires, and the show uses the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta for those scenes.
Now that you know where most of the Fox show is filmed, see if you can spot any location giveaways while watching Monday’s new showing, which is Season 1, episode 4, titled “Whose Blood is That?”
“In an attempt to protect Amy [Saniyya Sidney], Wolgast [Mark Paul-Gosselaar] convinces Sykes [Caroline Chikezie] and Lear [Henry Ian Cusick] to let them outside of the facility for exercise,” the episode 4 synopsis reveals of what’s going to happen. “As emotional flashbacks reveal Carter’s [McKinley Belcher III] life leading up to his death-row sentencing, Fanning’s [Jamie McShane] hold on those kept inside Project Noah grows stronger. Meanwhile, the virals gain power over the facility’s staff, leading Richards [Vincent Piazza] and Wolgast to reunite so they can take down a rogue soldier.”
Catch all the adventure, and the scenery of Georgia, when “The Passage” airs on Fox on Mondays at 9 p.m. EST.
