Where To Watch Meghan Markle’s Hallmark Movies Online When They’re Not On TV
Hallmark Channel is known for its countless romance movies, many of which feature a woman falling in love with a prince. Meghan Markle, one of the network’s stars, hasn’t been in one of their films in the royal genre, instead, she’s living it.
The “Suits” actress has been in two Hallmark Channel movies, including 2014’s “When Sparks Fly” and 2016’s “Dater’s Handbook,” and now she’s living a real-life Hallmark woman-marries-prince movie as she’s now engaged to Prince Harry.
While waiting for the duo to have their royal wedding in May 2018, and the Hallmark movie based off of their love story that is bound to follow, as there was with Prince William and Catherine, perhaps it’s time to take a look at Markle’s past TV romance flicks.
Whether you’ve seen either of the two movie before or not, now is a perfect time to watch them again or for the first time because the news of Markle and Prince Harry’s engagement is the evidence Hallmark fans have been waiting for to prove that Hallmark Channel movies can come true.
Neither of Markle’s movies will be airing on the network in the near future because neither one is a Christmas movie and Hallmark is currently in the middle of its Countdown to Christmas event.
That said, both can be watched online.
Her first Hallmark movie, “When Sparks Fly,” is about a big city journalist who returns to her small town to write a Fourth of July story. Sparks begin to fly when she starts hanging out with her former boyfriend, who happens to be engaged to her best friend.
There are quite a few places to watch the film online, with one of the main places being Hallmark’s online streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now. The site offers a seven-day trial, and then subscriptions start at $4.99 per month.
For those not interested in buying a subscription anywhere, the movie can be purchased online starting at $7.99 at Amazon, iTunes, YouTube, Vudu and Google Play.
As for Markle’s latest Hallmark flick, “Dater’s Handbook,” about a woman who turns to a self-help book for dating advice, there’s one less streaming option. Not to worry, though, as there are still plenty places to see the movie, which also stars Kristoffer Polaha and Jonathan Scarfe.
The movie is not yet available on Hallmark Movies Now, though the service is always adding more films and it could be added in the future.
Still, the romance movie is available on YouTube, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play and Vudu for purchase, starting at $7.99.
