Prince William and Kate Middleton’s two older children are finally on their half-term break. Prince George and Princess Charlotte will return to school in September.

In the past, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their children to Anmer Hall in Norfolk during their vacation. Anmer Hall is where Prince William and Middleton live when they are in the countryside. However, the royal couple recently moved to Kensington Palace so that they would be closer to their workplace.

Prince William and Middleton typically go to Anmer Hall when their children are on vacation and this year may be no exception. Last month, the Cambridges took a short respite in their country home for the Easter holidays.

At that time, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were photographed spending time with their second cousin, Mia Tindall. Prince William and Middleton also bonded with the former’s cousin, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike Tindall.

This year’s half-term break will also be special for Princess Charlotte because this will be her last break as a nursery student. The only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will start primary school in September, and she will be following in her brother’s footsteps of studying at Thomas’s Battersea.

“Princess Charlotte will join Prince George at Thomas’s Battersea from September 2019 this year,” a statement from Kensington Palace read.

Simon O’Malley, the headmaster at Thomas’s Battersea, also expressed his excitement over having Princess Charlotte on board.

“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea. We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September,” he said.

Prince George started going to Thomas’s Battersea two years ago. At that time, Prince William accompanied him on his first day of school.

Meanwhile, Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s next public outing may take place on June 8. The royal siblings may attend this year’s Trooping the Colour with their parents and the other members of the royal family.
