“The Amazing Race” is bringing it on when it comes to the competition between former racers, “Big Brother” houseguests and “Survivor” castaways competing on Season 31—and that includes the decision to unveil a Double U-Turn during the show’s second leg.

In a press release for the newest episode of the CBS competition series, it was revealed that teams will face a Double U-Turn during the show’s first ever trip to Laos. This will be one of the earliest times this challenge, which forces teams selected for it to perform an extra Detour task, will be used this early.

“Racers have a big decision to make when they face a surprise Double U-Turn in Laos,” the release states.

As for which teams may fall victim to the U-Turn? The show isn’t revealing anything naturally, but a photo for the episode shows current front-runners Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran standing in front of the U-Turn board. It appears a photo is already pinned up, and the cousins appear to be considering putting another team’s image up on the board as well. If they are doing that so as to give themselves an advantage because they are the team that was U-Turned first, then that would mean they have to also complete both tasks.

If they are U-Turned, it would be the fifth time total during their “Amazing Race” careers that they have been targeted by other teams in an attempt to knock them out of the competition—but if history is bound to repeat itself, this also won’t be affecting them.

As for another team that could be forced to complete both challenges, the other likely targets might actually be Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl. During the first leg of the race, several teams admitted they saw them as a threat in the competition, and they also managed to place in the top three before it was over, proving they are as strong as the other teams have pegged them to be.

In addition, a preview clip Tyler posted to Twitter shows he and Korey going to one of the Detour options—where they had to learn the Laotian alphabet. However, a photo from CBS also shows them completing the other challenge, which involves cooking a meal.

While they could have initially decided to complete one Detour and switched on their own to a different one, being seen completing both makes them most likely to have also been U-Turned.

Find out which teams will have to race against seemingly impossible odds when “The Amazing Race” airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
