Which Celebrities Will Attend Trump’s Inauguration? The Short List Of Celebs Taking Part In Festivities

If President-elect Donald Trump’s conventions leading up to the election were any indication, Trump doesn’t care about having A-list celebrities attend his events. Trump’s events attracted names such as Scott Baio, Gary Busey and Don King, and his inauguration may lack the star power that Obama’s events had.

While many celebs will be protesting Trump’s inauguration, the president-elect isn’t worried about it. “I don’t want the celebrities, I want the people. And we have the biggest celebrities in the world there,” he told “Fox & Friends.” Still, Trump’s inauguration and surrounding events will feature a few celebrity names.

Jon Voight

A longtime supporter of Trump, in March the actor said Trump was the “answer to our problems” and said “Republicans need to unite behind this man.” Voight went on to say, “I pray all Americans who have seen and felt the meltdown of America with the Obama years, to please fight for Donald Trump.”

Caitlyn Jenner

The LGBTQ community’s disapproval for Trump won’t stop Jenner from attending. “Caitlyn has been a Republican all her life and she sees this as an opportunity to represent and defend the LGBTQ community within the party,” a source close to Jenner told People. On Wednesday, Jenner said Republicans needed help understanding LGBTQ issues and she would be willing to help.

Chonda Pierce

Dubbed the “Queen of Clean,” the comedian will be headlining one of the inaugural balls. “I was very honored… I didn’t even have to think about it. I was like, ‘Yes,’” Pierce to Fox News. “I don’t have a Trump t-shirt but [the inauguration] is the epitome of our democracy.”

Drew Carey

While Carey won’t be at the main inauguration event, “The Price is Right” host will host the 2017 Veterans Inaugural Ball. The ball will feature performances from Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Janine Stange and The American Bombshells. During the election, Carey endorsed Libertarian Gary Johnson as president.

Antonio Sabáto Jr.

According to The Daily Beast, the former model confirmed he would be a guest of Trump via Twitter DM. Sabáto Jr., who previously acted in “General Hospital” and “Melrose Place,” spoke at one of Trump’s conventions.

Stephen Baldwin

While his brother Alec has a new job lampooning Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” Stephen Baldwin has been a supporter of the president-elect and told The Hollywood Reporter that he will attend the inauguration festivities. “I’m hoping that it’ll go as smoothly as possible,” Baldwin said of the events in Washington D.C.
