The hearse carrying Whitney Houston's body has arrived at the New Hope Baptist Church where the singer's funeral service will start at noon EST. See the photos below.
New Hope Baptist Church is in Houston's hometown of Newark, N.J., and she sung there are as a child. Her funeral service be shown live on several cable channels and streamed online via The Associated Press. Houston's funeral is a private event for family and friends.
Houston died on Feb. 11 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The cause of her death is unknown at this time. She found in a bathtub at her hotel suite before mentor Clive Davis' pre-Grammys gala. Houston was to make an appearance at the that event.
