Who Are Diamond And Silk? Trump Retweets Loyal Supporters’ Thanksgiving Message

While the president has several loyal supporters, not all of them are lucky enough to get a shout-out from Donald Trump himself. YouTube vloggers and social media personalities Diamond and Silk are a pair of sisters who have been personally endorsed by the POTUS, as he recently retweeted one of their videos that urged people to use a specific phrase to shut down anti-Trump protesters, during Thanksgiving.

In the video, Silk is seen ranting about “snowflakes” who are still unwilling to accept Trump as their president. She tells the viewers if politics comes up as a topic of discussion during the Thanksgiving dinner and Trump’s latest action of tweet is up for debate, true supports of the president only need a single statement to make a comeback at the haters: “That’s your president! That’s your president!”

The hilarious video went viral on social media, especially after Trump put it up on his Twitter page. The following are some of the reactions to the video from other ardent Trump followers:

The real names of Diamond and Silk are Lynnette Hardway and Rochelle Richardson, respectively. The African-American sisters from North Carolina were once loyal supporters of President Barack Obama but changed their allegiance when Trump announced his candidacy for the presidency.

The “About Us” section of their website states, “Standing with the ‘silent majority’ who are deeply concerned about political corruption and the unethical tactics of special interest groups and lobbyists, we here at The Viewer’s View are devoted supporters of President Donald Trump. We ‘Stump for the Trump’ because we believe in and can relate to his agenda to, “Make America Great Again!”

“President Trump’s non-traditional approach is exactly what this country needs. President Trump inspires hope in the American Dream, because unlike modern day politicians who dance to the tune of lobbyist, he is a successful businessman who has the ability to dictate strategies without the interference of special interest groups whose money often play a role in creating disadvantages for Americans.”

The duo jointly appears in all of their videos posted on their YouTube channel, “The Viewers View.” So, far their channel has more than 100,000 subscribers. Although not all the facts mentioned by them in their videos are politically correct, both Diamond and Silk claim they speak whatever is on their mind all the time because that is what their viewers love them for, the Independent reported.

Diamond is the one who mainly does the talking in the videos, while Silk emphasizes or repeats occasional phrases and exclamations in the backdrop. Diamond and Silk’s popularity skyrocketed after the commander-in-chief retweeted one of their social media posts in March, in which the sisters blasted former U.S. attorney Preet Bharara for refusing to resign, forcing Trump to ultimately fire him.

"If they say you gotta go that means bye bye, see you later, sawa nawao, adios amigos, that’s what that means,” they were seen saying in the video, wearing red MAGA shirts. “That means you should have packed your little boxes and you should have left. It gotta you all over the news as a little crap baby for not resigning, instead you had to be fired."
