Who Is Colette Butler? Shaytards YouTuber Shay Carl's Wife Silent Over Husband's Cheating Scandal With Adult Cam Girl Aria Nina
Colette Butler, the wife of the patriarch of YouTube’s Shaytards channel, has remained silent over her husband Shay Carl Butler's cheating scandal. While Shay admitted to sending sexual messages to adult cam girl Aria Nina, his wife has not spoken out about the incident despite being included in one of the scandalous Twitter posts by Aria.
Colette is also known as Katilette and MommyTard. The 34-year-old was an exercise trainer before Shay became a popular figure on YouTube. Colette was born on June 29, 1982, to Coleen and Vince Crofts and reportedly has four siblings named Adam, Candice, Sadie, and Callie. Colette and Shay got married in 2003, and have five children — Emmi, Gavin, Avia, Brock, and Daxton.
In 2011, Colette featured in a 2011 photoshoot video titled "Playing Dress Up with Kimmy Erin!" She also ran a half marathon during the San Francisco Marathon in 2012.
The cheating drama began after Aria posted screenshots of private messages between her and Shay on Twitter. While speaking to YouTuber Keemstar on his show Drama Alert Sunday, Aria said that she did not aim for fame by exposing Shay, but decided to release the messages after the popular YouTuber was rude to her.
Aria said that her alleged online fling with Shay began three months ago after the latter approached her to thank her for her support.
“He went on to then get really sexual and then he became really rude,” Aria said. While revealing about the messages, Aria said that she is in possession of a compromising video of the popular YouTuber.
However, Shay claims that Aria reached out to him first and seemingly baited him into sending the sexual messages. Denying Shay's claims, Aria said that the YouTuber led most of their conversations. “Who messages someone with good intentions at 3 a.m.?” she said.
Shay did not directly comment on the cheating scandal, but released a statement on his Twitter page revealing he is battling alcoholism and is seeking treatment.
Meanwhile, Aria is taking questions from social media users on Twitter, and also went live Wednesday on YouTube to answer questions related to the latest incident.
