Who Is Danney Williams? Man Who Claims He’s Bill Clinton’s Son Wants A Paternity Test
A man who says he believes Bill Clinton is his father Wednesday said he would file a lawsuit to force a paternity test.
Danney Williams, whose mother, Bobbie Ann Williams, was a prostitute, has been turning up at Hillary Clinton’s campaign events, attempting to meet his alleged father and capitalize on the press surrounding the Democratic presidential candidate, Inquisitr reported.
We Are America Radio, a conservative website, reported Williams is planning to seek a DNA test to prove Bill Clinton is his father.
Inquisitr reported Williams, 30, is a convicted felon who has been promoting his claim on Infowars, on which show host Alex Jones called his story “very, very credible.” Jones also endorsed Williams as a “hard-working guy” with no record and three children.
TheSmokingGun, however, unearthed a different story. Williams has served time for passing bad checks, stealing cars and parole violations. He also has five children, three of whom were born in the same year.
Williams has a Twitter account with more than 13,000 followers to promote his claim, which first was made in the 1990s. His mother said she was convinced Bill Clinton was the father because he was her only white client when she became pregnant. Time magazine reported a paternity test proved Clinton was not the father in July 1999, but Snopes reports it is unclear whether a test ever was conducted.
Williams also has set up a Facebook page on which he calls himself Danney Williams-Clinton and says Hillary Clinton “banished” him when his aunt, with him in tow, knocked on the Clintons' door in Arkansas. The page includes numerous pictures of Williams and Bill Clinton purporting to show a resemblance.
Neither of the Clintons ever has commented on Williams’ claims, which are backed by his own family. His mother allegedly had a relationship with Bill Clinton while he was governor of Arkansas.
