Who Is Diplo? Katy Perry’s ‘Boyfriend’ Apparently Disses Taylor Swift, Lorde Fires Back

There’s a new celebrity feud in town and the apparent players are Diplo and Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift and Lorde. It's believed that Perry and Swift have a feud that publicly dates back to the “1989” singer apparently calling out Perry in a Rolling Stone interview. Following Kim Kardashian’s exuberant Paper magazine photo, where her voluptuous assets were put on display, Diplo revealed he wasn’t impressed with Swift’s “booty.”

In fact, Diplo, whose real name is Wesley Pentz, started a phony campaign for the former country singer called “Get Taylor Swift a Booty Campaign.” It states: “Taylor Swift Still Needs Your Help! Any true supporter of TSWIFT would definitely not pass up this opportunity to improve her posterior! THIS IS A JOKE. Kinda…”

The campaign wants to raise $3,500 and has currently raised $85 from 63 supporters. On the front of the page is a picture of Nicki Minaj’s body from her single “Anaconda,” where her backside is on display, except it has Swift’s face instead of the rapper’s.

Even though Swift hasn’t responded, her friend Lorde took to Twitter to share her feelings. "@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm," the Kiwi singer tweeted Thursda.

The purported tension between Perry and Swift arose publicly when the “22” singer told Rolling Stone the premise to "Bad Blood," a song about another singer who apparently did her wrong. "It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” she told the mag. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”

Perry followed up the interview with a cryptic tweet: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

Perry ignored the social media fight Thursday, and instead posted a chest-baring selfie. “Feeling v Lolita rn,” she wrote. The picture was retweeted more than 10,000 times on Twitter.

The “Dark Horse” singer and Diplo have been rumored to have been dating since April. Before him, she had an on-again, off-again relationship with lothario John Mayer.
