Who Is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi? Princess Beatrice ‘Head Over Heels’ For Boyfriend
Another royal wedding may soon be in the works, as Princess Beatrice seems to be genuinely in love with her beau, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
According to a report in People Magazine, the Princess, 30, who is the older daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, is falling in love with her boyfriend, whom she went public with not long after her sister, Princess Eugenie’s, October wedding.
“She’s completely head over heels,” a source told the publication.
As it turns out, the couple may have only been dating for a short while, but have known one another for years, as their families have been friends. Mozzi is the stepson of Christopher Shale, who died at Glastonbury rock festival in 2011 and was a close friend of Beatrice’s parents. She even attended Shale’s funeral at the time as well.
Since first stepping out and officially going public in March, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi have been spotted all over the world together. Though marriage isn’t in the cards just yet, if the pair’s relationship headed in that direction, his place in the royal family would be another radical change in terms of who has joined their ranks.
While Meghan Markle initially made headlines as Prince Harry’s fiancée because she was not only an American actress but was biracial and divorced, Beatrice’s boyfriend could make headlines because he is already a father. He was previously married and has a son, Wolfe, from that relationship.
Prior to dating Mozzi, Princess Beatrice dated Dave Clark for a decade until 2016, even moving to San Francisco and New York with her boyfriend as he climbed the ranks with Uber.
If a wedding was in the cards for Beatrice and her new beau, it would be one of several marriages that the royal family has celebrated in the last year. Not only did Prince Harry and Markle marry in May 2018 and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank wed in October, but Lady Gabriella Windsor also tied the knot, marrying Thomas Kingston in May 2019.
