Who Is Elliott Spencer? Stephen Fry Set To Marry 27-Year-Old Comedian, 'Hoped For A Private Wedding'

Stephen Fry announced Tuesday that he is getting married to his boyfriend Elliott Spencer, but no date has been set for the wedding yet. The 57-year-old actor reportedly started dating Spencer, who is 30 years his junior, last year.

The two reportedly gave formal notice of their wedding plans at the register office in Dereham, Norfolk. Fry, who has openly talked about his fight against drugs and depression but tried to kept his love life a secret, made the revelation on his Twitter account saying that he was extremely happy.

“Stephen Fry is very happy and proud to say that he has set the wheels in motion for a wedding sometime in the future but no date has been set due to a busy work schedule,” the personal assistant of the “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” star said, according to BBC.

In 2010, the actor reportedly split from his partner of 14 years, Daniel Cohen, who Fry says helped him when he was suffering from severe depression. He then started dating Steven Webb, but the relationship reportedly ended in 2013.
