“Monster’s Ball” actress Halle Berry battled rumors that she was pregnant with baby No. 3 after she sported an apparent baby bump on the red carpet at the Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles Sunday. She wore a tight silver sequined dress and cradled her stomach, but the star is not pregnant.
“It is absolutely not true,” her rep told Us Weekly Monday after rumors about Berry, 50, expecting went viral. She is not pregnant.”

Berry then took to Instagram to make a joke about the pregnancy rumors. “Can a girl have some steak and fries??” she captioned a photo of herself Monday. The picture garnered more than 50,000 likes from her 1.6 million followers.
For now, Berry is a mother-of-two. She shares 8-year-old daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry and 3-year-old son Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.
The mother gushed about how her children affected her life during an April 2009 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “Having a baby takes so much from you. It's the most glorious thing you'll ever do, but the aftermath is not so glorious!” she said after she gave birth to Nahla. “I used to work a lot because I had nothing better to do. What I've learned, especially by having a baby, is that you can't bring that stuff home anymore.”
The “X-Men” star filed for divorce from Martinez, 51, in October 2015 after two years of marriage. IT was reportedly finalized December.
Things between the thespians wasn’t working out. “Things were extremely bitter with them as the marriage went on and in the end,” an insider told Us Weekly in 2015. “Finally they both tried to file against each other. It was always like that, very heated and a lot of competition and battling between them. Two extreme tempers and people that love to fight.”
Berry has been married and divorced three times now. “I have learned to deal with three failed marriages, which has not been easy, especially when there’s children involved,” she said at the 2017 City Summit and Gala in Los Angeles in February, according to Entertainment Tonight Online.
As a result, Berry is disillusioned with marriage. Women “go into marriage thinking it’s going to last forever and that this is our prince on a shiny horse. That’s what fairytales taught me as a kid,” she said at February’s event. She’s “anti-fairytales today.”
“But we go in there with that hope, so when it falls apart it feels like a huge failure and a huge disappointment. I’ve often felt guilty and responsible. I’ve suffered a lot of pain and anguish,” she added.
But Berry doesn’t have regrets. She said the pain made her a better mother. “Right now, being mom is my most important job and I now know that everything I do, everything I say and everything I offer them is really important,” she said. “I say lots of things, but I think what’s more important is that my children watch what I do. I’m more mindful of how I live my life and what they see me do.”
