Who Is James Corden? What You Need To Know About Craig Ferguson’s ‘Late Late Show’ Host Replacement
Who Is James Corden? Well, according to reports, the 35-year-old Brit is Craig Ferguson’s successor to “The Late Late Night” hosting throne. Despite not being confirmed by CBS, it was revealed by The Wrap Tuesday the London native would be grabbing the hosting-baton from the CBS veteran who’s been hosting “The Late Late Night” series since 2005.
But by no means does this make Corden a novice when it comes to entertainment. If you take a glimpse at Corden’s IMDB page you can see it’s bustling with an archive of impressive feats, from starring in the Broadway play, “One Man, Two Guvnors,” which earned him a Tony Award for Best Actor, to acting alongside Meryl Streep (an achievement itself) in the upcoming -- and highly anticipated -- Disney film “Into The Woods.” He'll play the role of The Baker.
Not only has Corden conquered cinema and the stage, but he’s proven to be a force to be reckon with when it comes to the small screen. Corden has appeared on several television series, one of which was “Doctor Who.” Corden was cast as the doctor’s lovable roommate Craig Owens. Yep, that’s right -- Stormageddon’s dad is now hosting “The Late Late Show.” How cool is that?
Are you excited for Corden to replace Ferguson as host on “The Late Late Show”? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts.
