Who is Jason Trawick? Britney Spears Engaged to Ex-Agent [PHOTO]

Britney Spears is engaged to boyfriend and ex-agent Jason Trawick after he proposed to her at a private dinner on his 40th birthday, popping the question with a three-carat diamond ring. Since their engagement, Spears and Trawick flew off to Las Vegas to celebrate, giving paparazzi their first glimpse at her engagement ring and future newlywed bliss.

But as news of the 30-year-old Criminal singer's engagement begins to heat up, many fans are wondering: just who is Jason Trawick?

Spears' one-time agent has been dating her since May 2010 (though the couple were spotted together as early as 2007), but the pair have been remarkably low-profile as a couple, especially considering Spears' previous relationships.

Britney Spears has been married twice before, to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 (annulled after 55 hours) and dancer Kevin Federline later that same year (divorced after two years). Spears had two children with Federline: Sean Preston, now six, and Jayden James, now five.

As the pop singer prepares to walk down the aisle for the third time, here are five things to know about Jason Trawick, from his history with Spears to who already approves of their plans to be married.

1.Trawick is Hollywood's Go-To Man

Jason Trawick met Spears when he was an agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, just before he started to represent her. In the past, he's worked with such big names as Taylor Swift, Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton and Hilary Duff.

Though he stopped being Britney Spear's agent back in May 2011, it was largely so he could go and oversee the entire arts and entertainment portion of Famos LLC. Pretty impressive for a guy who's stayed under the romantic radar!

2. He's Reason For Spears' Turn-Around

Britney Spears began dating Jason Trawick shortly after a well-publicized meltdown that lost her custody of her two children and ended in her father Jamie Spears taking control of her estate.

Since the couple began dating, however, Spears has been reunited with her estranged parents and with old manager Larry Rudolph. She also credits him, according to E! News, with helping her secure a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother and helping to revitalize her singing career.

3. Spears Has Transformed Trawick, Too

Though Trawick may have helped Spears transform emotionally over the past few years, there's one way in which the singer has definitely paid her fiance back. Since the pair started dating, Trawick has had an astonishing physical transformation, going from flabby to buff since 2008 and showing off his cut figure in her music video for Criminal.

We love to work out, Spears told Ryan Seacrest earlier this year. We do stuff together like that. For both the singer and the agent, it appears to be a winning formula.

4. Kevin Federline Knows- and Approves

Mutual friends of both Trawick and Spears began sending congratulations and well-wishes to the couple even before Spears announced her engagement on Twitter, with Trawick confirming some hours later. I used to work w/ Jason Trawick and can't think of a better guy and more perfect match for Britney Spears, the E! News anchor and radio host Ryan Seacrest tweeted. Congrats guys.

But someone else wanted to wish the couple well, too, and his name was somewhat unexpected: ex-husband Kevin Federline, who had a bitter divorce and custody battle with Spears.

Kevin was made aware that the engagement was imminent and is totally okay with the situation, an insider said about the 33-year-old dancer. He is happy for Britney and hopes for the best with her.

Adds the source: He was prepped for it. Victoria [Federline's girlfriend] is thrilled for them, too.

5. Spears Has Heard Wedding Bells For Months

Back in October 2011, Britney Spears slipped up in an interview with KISS FM, a UK radio station. The Criminal singer, gushing about her relationship with Trawick and how great he is with her two kids, accidentally called her boyfriend her husband.

Since then, engagement rumors have been rampant, and some wondered whether Spears was poised for yet another quickie wedding. In the months that followed, however, both Spears and Trawick continued to look the part of a well-adjusted, very happy couple, and the rumors quieted.

Now that Britney Spears is officially engaged to Jason Trawick, we can't wait to see the pop singer walk down the aisle again. Third time may actually be the charm for her, and if what we know about Trawick is any indication, her marriage will bring nothing but happiness to her and her fiance.
