Who Is Jevanni Letford? DJ Slips Business Card To Prince Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received a business card from a DJ in Brixton.

On Tuesday, the duke and the "Suits" star visited Brixton. One DJ, named Jevanni Aaron Letford seized the opportunity to get a royal wedding gig. He slipped a business card to Prince Harry who accepted it with a smile.

"Just slipped Prince Harry the old business card in a bid to secure that #weddingdj gig," Letford proudly shared the incident on Twitter with a video of him handling Prince Harry the business card. In the short clip, Letford is also heard saying, "DJ at your wedding, DJ at your wedding!"

Who is Letford?

Based on his website, Letford's career in music is influenced by his father Sly Fox of Architect, who is a household name on London pirate stations like Station FM and Style FM. Letford got his first exposure to a pair of deck when he was just 9 years old. His dad encouraged him to follow his footsteps.

Letford took up piano lessons and continues his passion for music via MTV, The Box and VH1 where he would hear his dad play. He started a Law degree at the University of Essex. To finance his studies he decided to throw events in Essex and London and present radio show to his university station.

Letford has a rich profile when it comes to his DJ experiences. He regularly works at Kiss FM, Kisstory and BBC 1Xtra. He is also an official resident DJ for Boxpark and ReebokMNR.

The DJ who wanted a gig at Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding has also appeared on Reprezent Radio, UKFlow, LiveFM and DonCity Radio. He also curated two successful club nights in London Chicken N Beer and Fragmented.

A number reacted to what Letford did and the majority of them believe that the DJ did the right thing. Prince Harry and Markle's visit was the best opportunity for him to offer them his service. A number agree that he has to give it a shot.
