Who Is Jinger Duggar Courting? Meet Her Boyfriend, New ‘Counting On’ Star Jeremy Vuolo

The Duggar family has big news — and it involves the love life of “Counting On” star Jinger Duggar.

According to People magazine, the 22-year-old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar is currently being courted by Jeremy Vuolo, a professional soccer player. And it looks like their love story will be unveiled during Season 2 of the TLC series when it returns this summer. But before you catch Jinger making goo-goo eyes at her new beau during the show’s sophomore installment, this is everything you need to know about the reality star’s boyfriend and their courtship.

Jinger divulged to the outlet that she met the 28-year-old athlete in May 2015 while they were on a mission trip together. “It was there that I really saw his heart and really admired his character,” she said of the Pennsylvania-born soccer player.

But will Jinger’s family like Jeremy as much as she does? Turns out, they already do! The soccer star, who played for the San Antonio Scorpions in the North American Soccer League, said it was Jinger’s sister Jessa Seewald, 23, and her brother-in-law Ben Seewald, 21, who introduced the two, proving that Jinger’s family approved of their romance right off the bat.

“We are very excited to begin this journey together,” Jeremy said.

Before Jeremy began wooing the reality star or professionally punting balls, he was studying at Syracuse University in New York. After graduating, Jeremy signed with Finnish club AC Oulu before returning to the U.S. to play for Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls in January 2012. The soccer star then took a break from saving goals to focus on ministry but later returned to the field when he signed with the Scorpions.
