Gisele Bundchen sparked romance rumors after she stepped out with a new man over the weekend.
Bundchen was photographed enjoying dinner with Joaquim Valente and the children she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, in Costa Rica Saturday. The sighting came just weeks after the Brazilian supermodel and the NFL superstar finalized their divorce on Oct. 28.
Here's what fans should know about Bundchen's rumored new man, according to Page Six.
He is a jiu-jitsu instructor
Joaquim and his brothers Pedro Valente and Gui Valente learned jiu-jitsu "from their father before they could walk," according to their website. All three learned the art at the tender age of 2 by taking private lessons from Grandmaster Helio Gracie.
The Valente brothers trained daily at the Gracie Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Now, they teach jiu-jitsu at the Valente Brothers facility.
Pedro began teaching classes in Miami, Florida, in 1993 and launched their family's full-time academy five years later. Joaquim was "still living in Brazil" at the time, "work[ing] with Grandmaster Hélio directly and provid[ing] Pedro and Gui with valuable information." He followed his brothers to the United States in 2007.
He studied criminology
According to Joaquim's LinkedIn page, he started attending Barry University in 2007 and graduated four years later with a bachelor's degree in criminology. He attended K-12 schooling in Rio de Janeiro from 1990 to 2007.
His age remains unclear, but Page Six reported that he may be in his early 30s.
He posed with Bundchen for a magazine
Joaquim and his brothers posed alongside Bundchen for a Dust magazine spread in 2021. In the interview, she revealed why she was drawn to jiu-jitsu, explaining that it was more than self-defense and its philosophy got her interested.
"It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself. It sounded like something I definitely wanted to learn about and then I was hooked," she said.
He is family-oriented
Joaquim's Instagram is private, but his Twitter account shows some of his sweet messages for his family, including some for his dad on his birthday.
"Today the greatest man was born. My best friend, mentor and father. Thank you for always being by my side. So many great memories. Beijo do Número 4," he tweeted in November 2018.
"Today, November 21st, the greatest man of all times was born, dad, or Dr. Pedro for most. Muitas," Joaquim wrote a year earlier to mark his dad's special day.
Joaquim also had some tweets about his brothers.
"When brothers agree, no fortress is so strong as their common life," he tweeted in 2017.
An unnamed source close to the supermodel is adamant that the dating rumors linking her to Valente were false.
"None of it's true," the insider told Fox News Digital. "This is the kids' and Gisele's longtime martial arts teacher. There's no truth to any dating rumors."
Bundchen has not publicly commented on the romance speculation.
