Who Is Kathryn Edwards? Meet The Rumored New Season 6 ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Cast Member
Bravo's hit series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is gearing up for Season 6 and it looks like there's a new girl in town. Longtime cast members Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville were both removed from the cast long before filming began. New reports suggest Bravo has found their replacement.
According to Us Weekly, Kathryn Edwards has been chosen to join the "RHOBH" cast in Season 6. So, just who is the newest Bravo star? According to reports, she is the former wife of well-known NFL player Marcus Allen. The pair, who tied the not in 1993, have since divorced. Kathryn is now married to yet another NFL player. In 2001 she and linebacker Donnie Edwards tied the knot.
Kathryn isn't the only new face rumored to be joining the "RHOBH" cast this season. Rumors indicates that Erika Jayne, an Atlanta native with a background in the music industry, might also be starring.
Brandi, 42, announced her departure from the show in June. She issued a statement during an episode of her podcast, "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered." Brandi told fans she had thought long and hard about her "Real Housewives" career and decided that it was time to walk away. She shared that during her four years on the network Bravo had become her "family." Brandi will instead be focusing on her podcast as well as her wine business. She teased another upcoming business venture, but did not disclose what exactly it would entail. Although she claims to have left "RHOBH" on her own accord, her former castmate, Lisa Vanderpump, seems to believe otherwise, calling it "a crock of poo."
Prior to Brandi leaving the show longtime "RHOBH" star Kim, 52, was fired. As we previously reported, the network, along with it's parent company, NBC Universal, presented the former child actress with an ultimatum: seek treatment or forfeit her fulltime spot on the "RHOBH" cast. Although Kim did eventually enter rehab -- voluntarily checking out on three separate occasions between April 26 and Aug. 24 -- the network found that, given her history of addiction, she was too much of a liability.
The network has neither confirmed nor denied the Season 6 casting rumors. It remains unclear when "RHOBH" will return to TV.
