Who Is Lauren London? Actress In The Spotlight After Death Of Rapper Boyfriend Nipsey Hussle

Nipsey Hussle, a 33-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper, was shot and killed Sunday afternoon outside of his South Los Angeles clothing store.

Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department said it has no information about the suspected shooter.

Hussle's debut studio album, "Victory Lap," was nominated in 2019 for a Best Rap Album Grammy.

Hussle began dating girlfriend Lauren Nicole London in 2013. In August 2016, London gave birth to a son with Hussle, Kross Asghedom.

London, 34, has a son, Cameron Carter, from a previous relationship with famed rapper Lil Wayne. Hussle has a daughter from a previous relationship.

London is an actress, who was among the stars of the 2006 film "ATL." She has also had roles in the television miniseries "Games People Play," as well as the HBO sitcom "Entourage" and the teen drama "90210." According to IMDB.com, London's first film or television appearance came in 2003, when she appeared in a music video featuring Jay-Z and Pharrell.

CNN and the Mercury News both published profiles Monday about Hussle and London's relationship. CNN described them as a "hip-hop fairytale," while the Mercury News wrote that they were "united in love, affection, respect."

Hussle and London, who have mostly maintained a low-profile relationship, were featured in February in GQ. London revealed that she reached out to Hussle through Instagram because of his 2013 mixtape "Crenshaw" and wanted to buy it as a wrap present for her co-stars of the BET comedy-drama series "The Game." The couple later began following one other on the app.

London has not commented on Hussle's death.
