Who Is LJay Currie, Iggy Azalea’s New Supposed Boyfriend? Bikini-Clad Rapper Parties In Mexico With Beau
“Fancy” rapper Iggy Azalea moved on from her ex-fiancé, Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young, with music producer LJay Currie. The new couple went on an exotic vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Saturday, Us Weekly wrote the following day.
Though Azalea didn't confirm the relationship, it certainly seemed like she and Currie were official. “They have been all over each other with major PDA. They rented a yacht and were making out on the deck,” an insider told Us Weekly in an exclusive report Sunday. “They flew in together on a private jet for a friend’s birthday.”
The source added: “He was spraying her down with a hose and wasn’t shy about putting his hands all over her body. They went jet-skiing and he gave her piggyback rides on the beach.”
Currie, whose birth name is Lorne Currie Jr., posted a picture of his trip to Instagram. For those who aren’t familiar with him, the music producer worked with R&B star Chris Brown. He also released a track with Lil Caine and Gemaine called “Roll With Me” in 2015. The Daily Mail described him as an “up-and-coming” producer.
The publication posted multiple pictures of the two enjoying their vacation. Currie had his hands on Azalea, né Amethyst Kelly, while she wore a skimpy red bikini. Like Us Weekly noted, he had his hands on her while they washed the ocean off their bodies.
In July, Azalea, 26, joked her next boyfriend would not have kids. A month earlier, she ended her engagement with Young after she discovered he was having a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Keonna Green.
“I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage,” she tweeted in June. “This is just like a second shot to the chest. I feel like I don't even know who the hell it is I've been loving all this time. People in this world really are f---ed up.”
Currie does not apparently have children.
