Who Is The Next 'Bachelorette'? Name Of 2020 Star Leaks
ABC has cast their next “The Bachelorette” lead, this according to spoilers from blogger Reality Steve. After revealing the suspected winner of Peter Weber’s “The Bachelor” winner last month, he leaked the name of the 2020 star of the network’s upcoming “The Bachelorette” installment on Saturday.
According to his findings, viewers can expect to see “The Bachelor,” “Bachelor in Paradise,” and “The Bachelor Winter Games” alum Clare Crawley take the lead in Season 16. His post came just hours before ABC reveals the next lead on “Good Morning America.”
“Monday morning on ‘GMA,’ Clare Crawley will be named the ‘Bachelorette.’ As a refresher, she finished 2nd on Juan Pablo’s season, was on ‘BIP’ 1 & 2, and was recently on ‘Winter Games’...” he wrote via Twitter.

His “Bachelorette” reveal came two days after he teased Clare might be getting the spot. Previously, it had been speculated that Kelsey Weier, from Peter’s “The Bachelor” season, and “Bachelor” alums Tia Booth and Kendall Long could be up for the role. Rumors of former “The Bachelorette” lead Hannah Brown landing a second season in 2020 were recently debunked.
As for what viewers can expect on Clare’s season, Reality Steve reported that fans can anticipate an “older cast” of men due to Clare being 38, and turning 39 during filming. On Sunday, he revealed that many younger contestants had been cut for this reason.
“As of right now, of the guys that I have, 4 of them have kids. And they are definitely going to be doing some late casting of more older guys this week after Monday’s announcement. They’ve already told a couple of the 25 year olds they’re no longer cast bc of the age difference,” he wrote.
Clare’s “The Bachelorette” season is reported to be scheduled to start filming on Friday, March 13. Fans of the show can watch her “GMA” reveal on Monday starting at 7 a.m. EST on ABC.
