Scarlett Johansson’s relationship with lawyer Kevin York made headlines two weeks ago, but there are some reports saying that the actress is now dating Colin Jost.

A source told People that Johansson and York’s relationship is “on and off.” “It’s been that way since day one. They both understand the realities of the situation. Their relationship is definitely of the 21st century kind. It’s good for them and that’s all that matters,” the source said.

Johansson and York were first photographed walking along the streets of New York last month. Immediately after, reports swirled that they are dating. However, both of them have not yet confirmed or denied the real status of their relationship. “Kevin and Scarlett are by no means headed for the aisle but they have a lot of fun when they’re together. They’ve known each other for forever. He’s a fun intellectual and she clearly loves that about it,” the source added.

Meanwhile, just last Friday, the “Avengers” actress was spotted hanging out with “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost. The 35-year-old actor took Johansson to a lavish dinner at The Palm in East Hampton. In the photo obtained by the Daily Mail, Jost looked as though he was leaning forward while listening to Johansson talk.

According to the publication, the “Lucy” actress was first linked to Jost before she was rumored to be dating York. After appearing on “SNL” in May, Johansson and Jost allegedly made out with each other at the show’s afterparty.

But an insider also told People that the latter would be more than willing to step aside if Johansson finds a man she would want to be official with. “He’d want her to be happy and find a partner that’s what she ultimately wanted,” the insider said.

Johansson and Jost have not confirmed nor denied the real status of their relationship.

Johansson was previously married to Romain Dauriac. She filed for divorce from her estranged husband in March. Dauriac confirmed their divorce via a statement released by his lawyer, Harold A. Mayerson, to US Weekly. “It is indeed unfortunate, especially for our daughter, that Scarlett filed in court and made our personal differences so public,” the statement read.
