Reality TV star Lyric McHenry, who was 20 weeks pregnant, was found dead on a sidewalk Tuesday morning in New York City. According to reports, the 26-year-old apparently had drugs on her.

New York City police said McHenry was transported to Bronx-Lebanon hospital where she was pronounced dead. There were no obvious signs of trauma, police said, adding a cause of death was yet to be determined.

McHenry, who appeared alongside Magic Johnson's son, EJ Johnson, on the 2016 E! show "EJNYC," was found wearing a pajama top and underwear, but no pants.

Police sources told New York Daly News that a small ziplock bag containing cocaine was found on her, hinting she may have suffered a drug overdose.

Just hours before her death, McHenry was celebrating her birthday. She had also posted videos to Instagram showing her out at the Frederick Hotel, the SoHo Grand and Dream Downtown in Manhattan. In finally last clip she posted, she was seen sitting next to a male friend as she blew a kiss to the camera. She turned 26 on Aug. 6.

McHenry, who graduated from Stanford University, served as a producer on close friend EJ Johnson's reality show. Johnson was one of the many friends to wish Lyric on her birthday earlier in the month.

"Happy birthday to my best friend who has strutted with my in princess gowns since day 1 @lyric_leigh words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you in my life," he wrote on Instagram. "Your constant love, respect and companionship gives me the confidence to live my truth every single day and I am so blessed that even as baby divas we recognized the greatness in each other. I love you. #leoseason #teamthis."

McHenry also worked as an associate producer for Complex Networks before becoming a freelance writer and producer in 2017.

“This is so devastating. She just was such an amazing person. She’s one of my best friends from college. She was special, and she made others feel special,” Maya Humes, who attended Stanford with McHenry, told the New York Daily News.

“She’s such an incredible human being. She was so smart and one of the most caring friends you can imagine. She was just always the person to pick up the phone and check in. She never hesitated to Facetime you and always, always wanted to put other people first, asking them questions about themselves, learning about them, making people feel loved,” Humes added.

Between June 2008 and August 2011, McHenry worked as a fundraising intern for former President Barack Obama’s campaign.

“Working for this campaign made my awkward stage at 15 so much doper,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her next to former first lady Michelle Obama.
