Who Will Be In Super Bowl 2022? Betting Odds For Chiefs, 49ers, Rams, Bengals
After 20 weeks of meaningful NFL action, Sunday’s NFC and AFC Championship Games will determine who will be in the 2022 Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams are all vying for the title, though one potential matchup is considered to be the most likely.
The latest betting odds suggest that a Super Bowl LVI meeting between the Chiefs and Rams has the best chance of happening. FanDuel Sportsbook has the odds of Kansas City facing Los Angeles at +100.
A Super Bowl matchup involving the Chiefs and 49ers has +230 odds. Kansas City defeated San Francisco 31-20 in the Super Bowl in 2020.
The Bengals and Rams have never met in the Super Bowl. That possible matchup has +480 odds.
The most unlikely scenario is for Cincinnati and San Francisco to do battle in the 2022 Super Bowl. Both of the Bengals’ trips to the Super Bowl ended in defeat at the hands of the 49ers. Joe Montana was the Super Bowl MVP as San Francisco beat Cincinnati for the championship in 1982. Jerry Rice won the award when the 49ers beat the Bengals in the 1989 Super Bowl.
Kansas City is favored by seven points over Cincinnati in the AFC Championship Game. It would be a considerable upset for the Bengals to win. The Bengals beat the Chiefs at home 34-31 in Week 17.
The Chiefs have -350 odds to win Sunday’s game outright. The Bengals are +275 underdogs to win the AFC.
As a 3.5-point underdog in Los Angeles, San Francisco has more of a chance to pull off an upset. The 49ers beat the Rams twice in the regular season. San Francisco has a six-game winning streak against Los Angeles, dating back to 2019.
The Rams are down to -176 favorites Sunday night. The 49ers have +148 odds to win in L.A.
The Chiefs are favored to win their second championship in three years with +130 Super Bowl odds. Patrick Mahomes has led Kansas City to the AFC Championship Game in all four seasons as the team’s starter.
The Rams (+200) have the second-best championship odds. Los Angeles came up short in the Super Bowl three years ago against the New England Patriots. L.A. is trying to become the second team in as many seasons to play in the Super Bowl in their home stadium.
The 49ers (+460) last won the Super Bowl in 1995. The Bengals (+850) are the biggest long shots left in the playoffs, searching for their first Super Bowl title in team history.
Super Bowl LVI is set for Feb. 13 at Sofi Stadium, the home stadium of the Rams.
