“The Challenge” is about to reveal who true champions are. After several weeks of seeing MTV’s “Challenge” veterans and rookie competitors go head-to-head in “Invasion of the Champions,” the winners will finally be revealed this week.

In the penultimate episode “Math is Hard,” MTV viewers will watch as Camila Nakagawa and Corey Wharton’s love affair is “put to the test” during the intense three-day final. Camila and Corey will likely not be the only struggling team. The network teases the remaining Underdogs and Champs, which consist of Chris CT Tamburello, Nelson Thomas, Nicole Zanatta and Ashley Mitchell, “must rely on each other in other to finish the final” during Tuesday’s episode 14.

Unfortunately for fans, the one-hour installment won’t reveal the winners. “The Challenge” viewers will have to tune in during a new day and time to catch the season finale. On Sunday, May 7, at 7 p.m. EST, ahead of the MTV Movie and TV Awards, the first, second and third-place competitors will be announced in episode 15.

“After a grueling three-day final, the winners of the ‘Invasion of the Champions’ are revealed,” MTV has announced of the episode, titled “The True Champions.” “Will an underdog earn the title of Champ? Or will a Champ remain on top?” continues the synopsis.

While MTV has yet to confirm the winners (because, why would they?) sneak peeks for Tuesday’s episode reveal CT and Ashley leading their fellow competitors. Could it be a coincidence that the pair are rumored to have placed first and are both seen killing it in the teaser? Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out!

The clip in question from episode 14 shows CT congratulating his temporary partner Camila on solving a math equation correctly. “You are a genius. Did I tell you that today?“ he asks her.

Meanwhile, Ashley leads the challenge without her teammate Nelson. “This has to deal with a triangle, math and division. All subjects I am not good at people,” he admits.

Another sneak peek from the episode, which seemingly takes place after the first day of the competition, host TJ Lavin reveals to the finalists that they will no longer be staying in their luxurious villa. Instead of giving the competitors some rest and reaction, TJ informs them they will be shacking up at the Shelter, the desolate spot where the Underdogs had to live at the beginning of the season.

“Surviving the Shelter is part of this challenge,” TJ warns. Let’s hope the Challengers heed his warning. MTV’s synopsis for the sneak peek teases the Shelter twist may “prove too much for some to handle.”

If you miss the first showing of the finale, MTV will be airing an encore special installment, which combines the final two episodes, airing Tuesday, May 9, at 9 p.m. EST.
