Who’s Richer: Meghan Markle Or Princess Eugenie?
Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie of York are more than just the fiancées of Prince Harry and Jack Brooksbank, respectively. Although the ladies have been gaining attention for their public relationships, their hard work has allowed them to acquire impressive net worths that they earned all on their own.
Markle is reportedly worth $5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The actress, who first got her start on “General Hospital,” managed to build up her acting resume by booking roles on various television shows and tv movies.
Eventually, she landed her life-changing role as Rachel Zane on the USA hit series “Suits,” and everything changed for the better.
Markle reportedly pocketed more than $50,000 per episode on the long-running series and walked away with around $450,000, according to Know Net Worth.
Following her engagement to Prince Harry, the star announced that she would be leaving the series to focus on her royal duties.
However, television wasn’t her only source of income. The actress appeared in two feature films in 2010, “The Candidate,” which earned her $171,429, and “Remember Me” where she snagged $187,000.
Markle has appeared in other films which have earned her a pretty penny and reportedly raked in around $80,000 in sponsorships and endorsement deals.
Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie, who is the youngest daughter of Sarah, Duchess Of York and Prince Andrew, is reportedly also worth $5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The royal, who is eighth in line to the throne, started out as a manager at auction house Paddle8 in New York City. The Princess eventually returned to London where she was able to land a job as an associate director at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery in 2015. After two years at the company, Princess Eugenie was promoted to director.
Although the royal and Markle appear to be in the same ballpark when it comes to their net worths, there’s no doubt that their hard work will continue to contribute to the expansion of their wealth both before and after they walk down the aisle.
Markle and Prince Harry, who announced their engagement in November after more than a year of dating, are expected to get married in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank, who became engaged earlier this month after seven years of dating, will also marry there in the fall.
