Why Is Amber Rose Putting Her Wedding Plans With Wiz Khalifa on Hold?

Amber Rose is putting off her marriage to Wiz Khalifa — so that they can have wedding photos with their first child.

Wiz Khalifa told XXL magazine: “There’s no date set yet. But we’ll probably get licensed and married before the baby’s born, and do a wedding afterwards because it makes more sense for the baby to be in the wedding than for her to be pregnant.

"Some people, they rush and do it. But, it works both ways.”

Amber Rose added, “Yeah, we definitely want our baby to be in our wedding pictures. And you know, being pregnant, I’m tired a lot.

"So to have a whole wedding and planning it all out and the reception – I just don’t want to be sleeping when everybody’s partying at our wedding.”

Rose and Khalifa publicly announced Rose’s pregnancy at the 2012 VMA Awards, when Khalifa told MTV's Sway Calloway on the red carpet: "We're expecting a beautiful lil baby -- me and Amber. We're so excited. We're having a baby!"

In September, the couple gave their first interview since announcing Rose’s pregnancy at the 2012 VMA Awards, and it was also with XXL magazine.

Rose told XXL about the birth: “I’m so ready. I’m going all-natural. I’ve decided that I’m going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine. I want those bragging rights! The next time Wiz has a stomach ache or anything, I’ll say, ‘I popped out a baby all-natural.’”

Rose also told People magazine in September, "We do know the sex, but we're [keeping it private] for now. We just found out two days ago, so we're super excited.'"

Rose first dated rapper Kanye West, before accusing him of cheating on her with his current girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.

After Rose and West broke up, she found love with Khalifa, and got engaged in April of this year.
