Arnold Schwarzenegger is opening up about his daughter Katherine’s decision to marry Chris Pratt, explaining that he didn’t expect her to tie the knot with an actor.

During the virtual reunion of “Kindergarten Cop” by Yahoo Entertainment, Schwarzenegger, 73, surprised his co-stars and revealed personal details about his family, including raising his children on his film sets.

"I never, ever thought that my daughter is going to marry an actor. I said to myself, she would be sick and tired of me dragging them to sets, having them watch me blowing up buildings and killing people," the former politician explained.

“My kids always enjoyed it, but Katherine, she was crying always the first few movies,” he added.

Schwarzenegger also talked about Pratt and described him as a “fantastic guy” who is “so easy to get along with.” He also praised the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star and said he feels happy that the 41-year-old “has been a wonderful, wonderful husband to her and such a great son-in-law.”

Katherine and Pratt have been married since June 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Lyla Maria, in August this year. The “Avengers” star also shares a son with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Schwarzenegger's comments came months after Katherine defended her husband from online criticism. The Star-Lord actor was dubbed the worst Chris in Hollywood after a Twitter poll asking users to choose who among Pratt, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine can go went viral.

E! also asked the same question on social media, but Katherine called out the outlet, asking if the comparison was necessary during this trying time. She pointed out that there are so many things happening nowadays and people have been struggling.

“Being mean is so yesterday. There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that,” she commented on the outlet’s post.

Other celebrities also weren’t happy about the poll, with Pratt’s “Avengers” co-stars rushing to his defense. Robert Downey, who played Iron Man in the franchise, said that his friend has nothing but “positivity and gratitude.”
