Camilla Parker Bowles’ ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, reportedly didn’t have any problems with his ex-wife and Prince Charles’ affair.

According to Express, Andrew didn’t have any complaints or questions because he, too, cheated on the Duchess of Cornwall. While they were married to each other, Andrew and Camilla were blessed with two children, Tom and Lara.

In 1995, Camilla and Andrew’s divorce was finalized. At that time, Camilla and Prince Charles had already been dating each other for over a decade. But Camilla still chose to stay married to Andrew legally.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana separated in 1992, but Andrew and Camilla were still together at that time. The Prince and Princess of Wales’ divorce were finalized one year after Camilla and Andrew’s divorce.

In 2005, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall announced their decision to tie the knot. Their civil ceremony was held at St. George’s Chapel. Following the engagement announcement, it was reported that the couple will tie the knot at Windsor Castle, but there was one problem.

In order to conduct a civil marriage at Windsor Castle, the venue requires a license for civil marriages, which they didn’t have. A condition that comes with the license is that the licensed venue must also be available for other couples for at least three years.

As such, instead of tying the knot at Windsor Castle, the royal couple’s ceremony was held at Windsor Guildhall. The couple’s wedding was pushed back a day later so that dignitaries could attend the funeral of the late Pope John Paul II.

Queen Elizabeth skipped the wedding ceremony, but she was present at the church blessing. Her Majesty didn’t skip the couple’s union because she didn’t approve of their relationship.

In fact, the monarch is reportedly very fond of Camilla. But she was also aware of the troubles that the mom of two caused in Prince Charles’ life and the royal family.
