Why Did Bella Thorne and Gregg Sulkin Break Up? Actors Say They’ll ‘Always Love Each Other’

Bella Thorne and Gregg Sulkin are no longer together. The actors officially confirmed that they decided to break up and revealed that distance played a factor in the split.

“After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” they said in a joint statement to People on Monday. “We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together. Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best.”

The young actors both have busy schedules. Thorne, 18, is currently filming her Freeform series, “Famous in Love” and has five films coming out this year, including Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween.” Sulkin is also working on several movies, and he is currently filming a comedy called “Deported,” according to IMDb. Rather than focus on the breakup, Sulkin, 24, tweeted about stunt training shortly after the news was out.

However, Thorne didn’t shy away from the topic. The actress reaffirmed that she’d always love her ex-boyfriend. She also told one Twitter follower that she is getting custody of their kittens.

Some fans may be surprised by the news. After all, the couple were still sharing some romantic pictures earlier this month.

The two had also just moved in together earlier this summer. “We remodeled the house, the whole entire thing from head to toe,” Thorne told AOL in June. “We worked really well together on everything, on the color scheme and it’s great because we have very different ideas. I am really good at the details and he’s really good at the mechanics of everything.”

Thorne and Sulkin were dating for over a year.
