In 2016, rapper Future put out two of his own albums — “EVOL” and “Purple Reign” — and even teamed up with Gucci Mane to release “Freebricks 2.” Following a recent clean sweep of his Instagram account and a cryptic tweet, it seems like Future plans to continue his success in 2017.

On Monday, the “Low Life” rapper’s Instagram account went blank. With a page that features more than eight million followers, the rapper’s account now has zero posts. Following the deletion of his photos, Future took to Twitter and tweeted, “2017 nobody safe.”

The rapper also tweeted that it was him and his DJ, DJ Esco, “against the world,” saying he doesn’t trust anyone because “they all greedy.” Like the rapper, DJ Esco also deleted all of his Instagram photos.

Future hasn’t tweeted since then, but that hasn’t stopped fans from trying to decipher his tweet, with many fans asking if a sequel to his previous mixtapes would be coming soon.

If Future does end up releasing a project this month, it wouldn’t be his first time putting out an album in the first month of a new year: “Dirty Sprite,” “Astronaut Status,” “F.B.G: The Movie,” “Beast Mode” and “Purple Reign” were all January releases.

In Juy 2016, producer Zaytoven confirmed a sequel to 2015’s “Beast Mode,” called “Beast Mode 16.” During an interview with All Hip Hop, the producer said the project would also include Drake. “We got one, maybe two [Drake features] for ‘Beast Mode 16.’ One for sure.”

Future reportedly has also been working on two other mixtapes: “Ape $h!t” with Mike Will Made It” and a sequel to “Monster.”
