Why Did Kylie Jenner And Tyga Break Up? Kardashians Reportedly Pressured Reality Star To Dump Boyfriend
Kylie Jenner and Tyga have called it quits, and a new report suggests it may have something to do with her famous family. The pair started dating in October 2014, but didn't make their relationship official until August of this year, following Kylie’s 18th birthday.
Kylie and Tyga, who turned 26 on Thursday, often flaunted their romance on social media, but TMZ reports that their split was "sudden and nasty."
Sources told the outlet the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star ended things on Tyga's birthday, shortly after she returned from a trip to Australia. TMZ reports "something Tyga did" caused the breakup, but also mentions that Kylie was feeling "pressure from the Kardashians." Reportedly, Kendall Jenner did not like her younger sister Kylie dating Tyga and bashed the "Stimulated" rapper during a recent night out.
According to E! Online, Kylie and Tyga are simply "on a break" and there's a chance they could work things out.
"They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after' and things got messy this past week," a source explains. "Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."
The source also denies that Tyga did anything to cause the split. So far, Kylie and Tyga have not mentioned their breakup on social media, but if Kendall did have anything to do with the pair calling it quits, Kylie might have already forgiven her.
The 18-year-old E! star shared a photo Wednesday of her and Kendall, captioning it with a smiling emoji with heart-shaped eyes.
As previously reported, rumors of a breakup first surfaced when Kylie decided to skip Tyga's birthday party earlier this week. The rapper invited some of his celebrity pals, including Christina Milian, Jamie Foxx and A$AP Rocky, to The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, but Kylie and her family were not in attendance.
The famous siblings also never mentioned Tyga's birthday on their social media pages.
