Why Gwen Stefani’s Makeup, Hair Are Extension Of Her Personality
One little known fact about Gwen Stefani is that she does all her makeup herself. The singer has been performing on stage for the past three decades, and every time she personally does all her makeup before stepping on to the stage.
In a previous interview with Vogue, Stefani said that she considers are makeup and hair as an extension of her personality and mood. She added that the makeup is a “confidence booster.”
Makeup is such an essential part of the routine for Stefani before any performance that she even wrote a song titled “War Paint” about it. “It makes me feel like I’m ready,” she said.
Given the significance of this part of her getting ready, the singer does it herself instead of relying on someone else to help her.
While makeup is an important routine for any celebrity, Stefani is also not afraid to show her makeup-free face to the public. According to a previous report by Taste Of Country, the singer shared a picture of her bare face on social media. The picture was taken while she was relaxing on Lake Texoma with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton.
Apart from her singing career, Stefani has been in the news for her relationship with Shelton. According to Gossip Cop, the most recent rumor about the two is that Shelton wanted to leave “The Voice” because the producers of the show didn’t invite Stefani back as a coach.
Shelton, however, has been a part of the show in Seasons 13, 14, and 15, and he will be a coach as well in Season 16. The tabloid story has evidently been debunked. A rep of the country singer confirmed that the story is false and that Shelton doesn’t have any plans to leave “The Voice.”
Shelton is also part of the star lineup of the California Mid-State Fair this summer, The Tribune reported. The other performers at the event include Cardi B and Miranda Lambert.
Lambert will be performing on July 17 at Paso Robles fair. Cardi B will be singing on July 21 with a Chumash Grandstand Arena show.
The tickets for Shelton’s event were reportedly sold out in a matter of five hours. He has performed at the fair before, and this time he will be singing on July 21.
