The CW’s “The 100” might take place in a post-apocalyptic world, but it’s still taking July 4th week off and delaying its new episode — Season 6, episode 9 — until next week.

Although the show isn’t on tonight, fans will only have to wait one week to see what happens next on the series.

When the show comes back on July 9 with episode 9 (titled “What You Take With You”), “Bellamy (Bob Morley) must venture into enemy territory with an unlikely companion,” the synopsis reveals. “Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is forced to confront her past.”

Per usual, Eliza Taylor (Clarke), Paige Turco (Abigail), Lindsey Morgan (Raven), Richard Harmon (Murphy), Tasya Teles (Echo) and Shannon Kook (Jordan) will also star in the episode, which was directed by Marshall Virtue and written by Nikki Goldwaser.

At the start of the short episode trailer, Gabriel (Chuku Modu) tells Octavia, “Things are about to get weird.”

Meanwhile, Bellamy’s out there reassuring Clarke that he always has her back.

“I won’t let you die,” he tells her in the “The 100” promo.

What kind of craziness are they all getting themselves into this time? The answer to that, sadly, won’t arrive for another week.

In the meantime, a reairing of this season’s fifth episode, titled “The Gospel of Josephine,” will be shown during the show’s usual time slot tonight. For those who missed the episode when it first debuted in May, here’s what it’s all about:

“Jordan investigates Sanctum,” the synopsis explains. “Meanwhile, Octavia and Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic) discover the threats of the new planet firsthand. Lastly, Bellamy and Clarke butt heads.”

Enjoy the rerun, and then get ready for “The 100” to return with Season 6, episode 9 on Tuesday, July 9 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
