“Almost Family” isn’t on tonight. The new Fox drama has been replaced by baseball, but it won’t be on hiatus for long.

“Almost Family” Season 1, episode 4 airs Wednesday, Oct 30 at 9 p.m. EDT, so it’s just a one-week break. When the series returns, the sisters will find another new brother, played by guest star Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty,” “Younger”).

“The sisters meet a new sibling, restaurant owner Nate (Urie), who helps them secure one of the most exclusive reservations in New York,” the synopsis teases. “Unfortunately, the dinner doesn’t go as planned and Julia (Brittany Snow) is forced to apologize to Roxy (Emily Osment) and Edie (Megalyn Echikunwoke) for her missteps.”

Despite all the paternity drama, Edie and Tim (Mo McRae) will actually consider having their own baby in episode 4, which is titled “Fake AF.” “Meanwhile, Edie and Tim discuss starting a family, but Edie is conflicted on where she stands,” the logline teases.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bechley (Timothy Hutton) will start logging some service hours. “Dr. Bechley begins his volunteer work at a hospital, where he uncovers another Bechley baby,” the summary says.

Elsewhere, Roxy will be in the gym with her new mini-me, but she still has to work to smooth things over with her mom and dad. “Roxy invests her time in training her gymnastics protégé, Izzy, while tensions with her parents rise,” the synopsis warns.

A week off might not be great for the “Almost Family” ratings. The freshman show is currently the lowest-rated scripted program in the coveted 18-49 demo, averaging only 0.69. Luckily, it lands more in the middle of the chart when looking at overall viewership. It’s averaging 2.4 million viewers each week, more than “Bob’s Burgers,” “Family Guy” and “Bless the Harts,” according to TV Series Finale.

“Almost Family” returns next week.
