Why Isn’t ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ On Tonight? Season Finale Delayed On ABC
Don’t tune in to ABC on Monday night expecting to see a new installment of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Despite the fact that the network has aired new Season 6 episodes of the dating series every Monday and Tuesday since August, a different show will be airing during the series normal time slot on Sept. 16.
Monday night will instead see the Season 28 premiere of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” The 2019 installment of the dance competition program kicks off at 8 p.m. EST. And while the program seemingly delayed the “BIP” finale, Bachelor Nation fans may still want to tune in. ABC’s latest “The Bachelorette” lead Hannah Brown is among the 12 celebrity contestants competing on “DWTS” this season.
After “DWTS” kicks off on Monday, “Paradise” viewers can expect the finale to air during its usual 8 p.m. EST time slot on Tuesday, Sept. 17. And while viewers may be missing out a Monday-night episode, ABC will make up for it with a three-hour finale.

The final episode will see the four remaining couples -- Demi and Kristian, Chris and Katie, Dylan and Hannah, and Clay and Nicole -- go on their fantasy suite overnight dates before deciding if they want to get engaged. “No one knows what the night will bring to these love-struck couples. Engagements, breakups and plenty of tears springing from both joy and heartbreak make for a compelling season finale,” the synopsis teases.
The extended episode will also see the Season 6 cast reunite in the studio alongside host Chris Harrison. The reunion will end with ABC revealing the identity of its newest “The Bachelor.”
