Why Isn’t ‘The Bachelorette’ On Tonight? Episode 7 Delayed Because Of July 4th Holiday
Sorry, “Bachelorette” fans! You’re going to need to wait one more week before watching the drama unfold in episode 7.
While the ABC reality series usually airs every Monday at 8 p.m. EDT, the show is taking the night off due to the July 4th holiday. Instead of airing a new episode, the network will re-air last week’s installment, which found star JoJo Fletcher deciding to keep both Alex and James instead of eliminating one. Episode 7 will premiere on ABC the following week on Monday, July 11 at 8 p.m. EDT.
While a week off might be hard for some viewers, they can at least take comfort in the fact that the new episode will be filled with juicy moments. Jordan, Luke, Chase, Robby, James and Alex are still in the running for JoJo’s heart, but with hometown dates quickly approaching, JoJo has to make a big cut. She can only meet the families of four guys, which means that everyone will have to step up their game in episode 7.
The synopsis teases that the men will follow JoJo to the Argentinian countryside. It’s there that Alex will get his highly anticipated one-on-one date with JoJo. It’s an important date for Alex, who was on the chopping block with James last week. Later JoJo will spend some time with Jordan, one of the frontrunners this season. The two will enjoy a passionate afternoon in a vineyard, however, their evening will take a turn. Jordan will use his alone time to share a “stunning revelation, which changes how JoJo feels about him.”
Robby, Chase and James will land the group date, but things don’t go as planned. Weather cancels their plans, allowing JoJo and her guys the opportunity to have a “blast” hanging around the hotel. Despite the easygoing afternoon, the stakes are high. The group date rose is the only rose heading into the elimination ceremony this week.
Luke will round out the dates in episode 7. Their connection this far has been undeniable — but is JoJo having second thoughts? The synopsis teases that Luke’s “gentle way” when horseback riding and skeet shooting will make JoJo’s choice “more difficult.”
JoJo can only go on four hometowns. “The Bachelorette” fans can find out who she chooses when episode 7 of the 2016 season airs on ABC on Monday, July 11 at 8 p.m. EDT.
