Why Isn’t ‘The Good Doctor’ On Tonight? ABC Delays Season 3, Episode 6
Unfortunately, “The Good Doctor” fans looking forward to watching a new Season 3 episode tonight will be disappointed because the ABC medical drama is taking the week off.
After “Dancing with the Stars” finishes airing, instead of a new episode of “The Good Doctor,” a repeat showing of its Season 3 premiere will air during its usual 10 p.m. EDT time slot. The series will return with new episodes starting Monday, Nov. 4.
It will come back with episode 6 of the season, titled “45-Degree Angle,” which was written by Sal Calleros and directed by Steve Robin.
According to the synopsis, “While performing his first solo surgery, Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) alienates a nurse, which puts his residency in jeopardy. Also in this episode, Dr. Neil Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) disagrees with Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) on a risky surgery, and Dr. Claire Brown (Antonia Thomas) spirals into self-destructive behaviors, causing negative ramifications in the workplace.”
The show also features Hill Harper (Dr. Marcus Andrews), Richard Schiff (Dr. Aaron Glassman), Fiona Gubelmann (Dr. Morgan Reznick), Will Yun Lee (Dr. Alex Park), Paige Spara (Lea Dilallo) and Jasika Nicole (Dr. Carly Lever) in its cast. The episode’s guest stars include Elfina Luk as Nurse Villanueva and Sheila Kelley as Debbie Wexler.
“The Good Doctor” returns with Season 3, episode 6 on Monday, Nov. 4 on ABC at 10 p.m. EDT.
