Why Isn’t ‘Supergirl’ On Tonight? CW Delays Season 4, Episode 13
Don’t pack your cape away just yet because “Supergirl” is only going to be gone for one short week.
In the meantime, a repeat showing of Season 4, episode 10 of “Supergirl” will air instead of a new episode tonight. The CW show returns with a fresh broadcast on March 3 with Season 4, episode 13, titled “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?”
“Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala) breaks out of prison with the help of his new team, The Elite, who are set on punishing the anti-alien forces,” the synopsis reveals of the Alexis Ostrander-directed episode. “Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) pulls double duty as she tries to apprehend Manchester Black and his team as well as deal with a shocking new development with Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer).”
In the promo, Manchester Black explains, “Supergirl’s done. This is the era of The Elite.”
Of course, she’s not going down without a fight, and the trailer shows there will be just that in the new episode, which was written by Eric Carrasco and Aadrita Mukerji. “You have The Elite, I have super friends,” Supergirl says to Manchester with her team right behind her.
The short clip ends with a lot of shooting guns, a lot of superpowers and a lot of punches.
See the big showdown when “Supergirl” comes back with new episodes on March 3 on The CW at 8 p.m. EST.
